PLUS a detailed description of the problem, what research you have done, and the steps you have taken to fix it. * Whether you have installed Guest Additions and/or Host Extensions (this solves 90% of the problems we see) * Whether you have enabled VT-x/AMD-V (applicable to all hosts running 6.1 and above) and disabled HyperV (applicable to Windows 10 Hosts) * The version of VirtualBox you are using This is just a friendly reminder in case you missed it. If anyone has had something similar, or know how to fix it. But I saw nothing, i have been messing around to see if i can get it to work. My screen was just black, i did get a boot screen and i did hear the boot sound. ![]() And when it was completely installed, and i restarted windows. So i did so (I got the CD-image from the devices tab). To which the solution is, according to the internet, to install Guest Additions. ![]() I am having some (What seem to be graphics adapter) issues. Today i wanted to use a Windows Xp VM to run an old Need for Speed game. I am using Virtualbox 7.0.8 In order to Virtualize Windows XP. Thank you to everyone who tried to help me and the other people that are having this problem.* The issue can either be solved by using VboxSVGA or by using an older version (6.x.x) instead of the newest virtualbox version.
